JIS SM570 High Strength Low Alloy Steel Plate for Heavy Engineering Construction
SM570 is high-strength structural steel plate following JIS G3106 standard, designed for structures bearing heavy static and dynamic loads. SM series steel represents welded structural steel in Japanese specifications, and SM570 provides excellent strength while maintaining guaranteed weldability. It is a preferred grade for long-span buildings, bridges and heavy machinery in Asian infrastructure projects.
With optimized microalloying design, SM570 achieves high tensile strength together with satisfactory low-temperature toughness. Compared with ordinary carbon steel, designers can adopt thinner plate thickness to lower overall structure weight and transport costs. Strict production control ensures stable performance after rolling, bending and welding operations.
Typical usage covers highway and railway bridge girders, industrial heavy load supports, construction machinery components, port facilities and crane structures. Our factory provides certified SM570 hot rolled plates with optional ultrasonic inspection to meet strict overseas project acceptance standards.
