  • ASTM CortenA steel grade is a hot rolled products of structural steels in technical delivery conditions with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance.The steel grade CortenA is according to ASTM standard which with the yield strength of 355MPa and the tensile strength of 470-630MPa.Corten-A steel was first used in buildings in 1958 because it has anti-corrosion properties. Then Corten-A especially in China and Japan was widely used for bridges, trains, cars, trucks and industrial facilities and so on.
  • ASTM Corten B steel grade is a hot rolled products of structural steels in technical delivery conditions with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance.The steel grade Corten B is according to ASTM standard which with the yield strength of 355MPa and 345MPa which is based on the different thickness.The anti-corrosive properties of Corten B steel are better than those of other structural steels in many applications. Corten B steel is self-protecting. The rust layer on the surface becomes a tight oxide layer that slows down the progress of corrosion. Corten B steel is an economical, long-lasting and fully recyclable material.
  • A242 Type1 steel grade is a hot rolled products of structural steels in technical delivery conditions with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance.The main alloying elements are chromium nickel and copper with added phosphorous which gives it excellent self protecting qualities. As the steel reacts with elements in the atmosphere, the material forms a layer of rust over time which in essence protects the steel from corrosion.

  • ASTM A588 Gr.C is a high strength low-alloy structural steel specification with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance for structural steel shapes such as angles, channel and beams, as well as steel plate and bars. The A588 Gr.C specification is intended primarily for use in welded bridges and other structures where savings in weight or added durability is important along with the longer life cycle due to its corrosion resistant properties.
