Study on weldability of 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate

When welding 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate, the welding material is selected according to the same strength theory, and the hardness of the selected welding wire is greater than that of the base metal.
(1) Carbon equivalent analysis of carbon dioxide gas shielded welding joint of 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate shows that the steel has little tendency of hardening and cold cracking, so it can be welded without preheating;
(2) The sensitivity coefficient of cold crack of 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate gas shielded welding joint shows that the cold cracking tendency is not obvious;
(3) The metallographic and mechanical properties of 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate CO 2 gas shielded welding joint of 05CuPCrNi weathering steel plate show that the microstructure and mechanical properties of the joint are normal and the mechanical properties are excellent according to the conventional welding process, which can meet the requirements of engineering application.
