Analysis of Plates and Strips Production of Key Enterprises Statistics in October 2019

　　In October, the daily output of plate mills increased month-on-month, and the daily output of hot / cold rolling mills showed a downward trend. Among them, the daily output of hot-rolling mills fell by a large margin; the prices of all products fell month-on-month, and the price of plate fell by 137 yuan . Among the key varieties, the output of automobile panels continued to decline, and the decline was expanded.

　　Plate and strip rolling mill production:

      In October, the medium and heavy plate mill produced 4.98 million tons of extra-thick and medium-thick plates, a decrease of 420,000 tons year-on-year and a decrease of 9.2%. Hot continuous rolling mill production was 13.37 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40,000 tons, a decrease of 0.3%; of which the volume of goods was 7.75 million tons, an increase of 30,000 tons, an increase of 0.4%. For the next process, 5.62 million tons of materials were used, a year-on-year decrease of 70,000 tons, a decrease of 1.2%. The production of tandem cold rolling mills was 4.86 million tons, a decrease of 20,000 tons year-on-year, and a decrease of 0.5%; of which, the volume of goods was 3.48 million tons, an increase of 20,000 tons, and an increase of 0.6%. The supply for the next process was 1.39 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40,000 tons and a decrease of 2.7%. The daily output changes of medium and heavy plate rolling mills, hot continuous rolling mills and cold continuous rolling mills are shown in Table 1-3.
